130 years of
Brixham sailing heritage.

Pilgrim was built at Upham's yard in Brixham in 1895, next to where she's currently moored. She's the oldest surviving sailing trawler that was built and rigged in the port. Her red sails are icons for the harbour and in the season she's under sail most days, helping bring historic sailing to new generations.

The Pilgrim Heritage Sailing Foundation, a registered charity formed in 2017, looks after her. Proceeds from sailing adventures and charters help cover the costs of keeping her at sea.
